I bought these to replace my first pair which I wore most days for almost 2 years. Those have become my gardening shoes. These shoes are sturdy and comfortable. I walk and bike 6 or 7 days per week, so they have longevity. They were recommended to me by podiatrist and specialty shoe person after a nasty round of plantar fasciitis. They work well and no need for special inserts. Lots of room in the toe area which is nice. They do seem to run slightly small as I buy a women's 9 in this shoe. I normally wear women's 8.5 in New Balance.
