I have gone through all 4 of the V2's that I could find in my size in a 2E and found nothing to replace them with until this version came out. Just standing in them they don't feel like they have the cushioning in them that the previous version did but it shows up when you start running, so far I've only gotten in one 6 mile run and one 3 mile run. The upper is great so far, I've read reviews that claim they rub the ankle area but I haven't had any problems, I do wish that they hadn't deleted the extra shoelace eyelets, I use these eyelets to lock my heel in.Update 160 miles later I've added two eyelets at the top and they lock the heel in very well, hopefully these will last until my marathon in December, these are great shoes.Smooth running shoes. After approximately 65 miles, the BoracayV3 makes for an enjoyable run. It did take a good 30 miles to break them in, but now that I'm used to them, each run is a little better than the last. That said, I've been running with an injury (piriformis and/or inflamed sciatic nerve), but the pain level isn't as intense with the V3. They do feel a tad firmer than the BoracayV1, but the quality with the V3 seems far better. I had issues with the mesh tearing on the V1, but the material on the V3 is different. It looks like New Balance got the message.Had these shoes for about 3.5-4 months now, and they are a great fit for me. Honestly, one of the best fitting pair of running shoes I've ever owned. On top of that, they look pretty good for a running shoe.My issue I've had is that after about 6 weeks, the logo and exterior started to peel off on both sides of both shoes. It's not the worst thing, but it's exceptionally annoying. So, buy some super glue when you gets these kicks.I use them for walking, as I prefer biking to running. Put 168 miles on them during a recent 3-week trip to Europe and they still feel great. The colors go with anything, the fabric stretches without giving too much and the sole and support are excellent. Like all running shoes, the orthotic insert should be replaced with something decent. The laces have orange vinyl tips, which are cute. I have the EE width, which hit somewhere between EE and a normal D width, so if you have feet that are EE and tend to swell, I'd go for the 4E if you can find them.Just took them out of the box so this is more of a first impression review. I've been looking forward to trying these as an alternative to my Adidas Ultra Boost ST's which are very good but in my opinion could use a bit more cushion given my weight (230lbs). I've already run ten miles today and my feet were kind of sore...but once I put these on, I feel like I could go another 3 miles...the cushion is comparable to the boost but is more subtle when walking...so basically they feel great...and definitely worth the money...Looks great, fits great but I am a big and tall guy (6’3” 19 stones) and I have fast and energetic strides so now the soles are getting deformed and turning softer, not supporting adequately my heels. The shoes are great but probably the sole compound is not hard enough for people with slight overweight and/or heavy/fast steps like me.A little narrower than other 2E width New Balance running shoes I've owned. As a result, they rubbed the top of my foot at its widest point and caused bleeding on my first run. I've never had that happen with previous New Balance 2E width running shoes of the same size. Wearing a Band-Aid has stopped the rubbing from causing me pain, but they still aren't the most comfortable New Balance running shoes I've owned. I wish New Balance offered more wide-width options for underpronated / supinated road runners. The Fresh Foam is supposed to be the best option for underpronation / supination, but my 910 trail runners are actually more comfortable, even on the street.Low drop, a little strong cushion, and low response. It's good for jogging at slow or moderate pace. Thank you for selling 2E width. The upper is very flexible like tights. There is a fairly high drop from ball to tiptoe like Hoka, I feel it unnatural. Either the product is fake or the quality is too low. Just one month of regular use, the sole pasting of both the shoes have come out.
