Ok...1st I like New Balance. I like these shoes. Fresh foam X is amazing cushion material. These will be my 5 k road race shoes, The NB tempo Version 1 is a great value for it's price. For less than $100, you get a race shoe that looks like a regular everyday sneaker. Many reviewers probably have never seen a 6mm drop running shoe and it's not in their comfort zone. It is also made of lightweight super thin materials that dont give alot of cushion.(wear comfy socks). I found these at the NB outlet for $59.99 and even if I only get 1 year of use, I didn't spend a lot of money. ( My NB 993's cost almost $200.).The fresh foam X midsole is just eneough to give road feel and not hurt your feet from pounding the pavement. These are NOT max cushion shoes by any stretch of the imagination. The tongue is thin, the outsole is thin. These are not built to last 5-10 years, they are purpose built. In another year I will get another pair. (maybe the version 2 will be on sale?)I’ve had 3 pair of these Tempos in size 9.5 2E and they are almost perfect. They are light, fast, relatively firm, not too soft like other fresh foam soles, and fit perfectly. I love them, except for the weak toe box. In short order my big toe blasted through each sneaker, which is so disappointing.Needed super-grippy soles for Ninja Gym workouts such as warped wall, vertical poles, rock wall. These are excellent and very lightweight. Normally wear a US men's size 9...these fit true-to-size.These are perfect! I buy mens shoes because they are more comfortable than woman’s and these fit perfectly. Super comfortable and cute!Not soft for the bottom of feet. Top material is airy and good material.Good for shorter/faster runs. Feel great, especially with wide width option. If your foot is wide definitely order the wide option as these running sneakers tend to hug your foot very snuggly. Sneakers are very light and look great. I'll run a quick 1-2 miles on treadmill on top speed and then do some resistance training in the gym afterwards with these on.Fit perfectly as expected can even perhaps go half a size up due to it being real foot shaped and more on the narrow side when slipping your foot inside. GREAT grip and lightweight run ability thats compatible to any treadmill joggers/incline fast walker like me. By far my favorite run shoe 5/5 stars from me. I got the size 10.5 in red/blackGreat quality but smaller than I expectedVery poor and quick to wear out!I’ve been a New Balance wearer for over 10 years and always have around 4 pairs on cycle for training, I purchased the NB Tempos purely for speed work, size wise they are like a Zante but having only done around 80-100 miles in them there are already holes coming at the back, having worn multiple pairs of Zante’s, 1080v’s and more recently echo lucents I can honestly say these are the worst pair of NB I’ve ever had.I was getting over 500 miles from a pair of zante I’ll be lucky if these Tempo’s don’t drop to bits before reaching 150!I was skeptical at these with the low price (now even lower than my order!) but they arrived in a legit New Balance box. Fits exactly to my size, though on my first run, felt a little on the small size, but just needed to sinch then down enough with the laces and they were like a glove. With the smaller stack height of a cushioned trainer (as you'd expect) you can really feel the road which is great if you want to have that ground connection. Been out on 2x runs, 12k & 16k and both were great, enough comfort for those distances, maybe not much further. Feel light and more suited to the quicker, shorter runs. Overall very pleased and at the price, they're at bargain!Bought these for running, working towards ½ marathon in June, comfortable, good support and cushioning and fast, had a little rubbing on top of my toe first 5k but just loosened them a little and now they're fine, run two 5 ks a 12 and a 14 so far really like themGreat price (50% less than RRP) and a lovely lightweight running shoe.I would say the fit is true to size, I ordered the same as my previous Under Armours.I’ve already covered 50km+ in these with no issues at all.Much too small, even by New Balance standards. Particularly short, squashing the toes. Go up a full size. Also the upper mesh materials are a bit meh. Seem like they’d be very comfortable in the right size. Returned.
