Overall, I am pleased with these shoes. They are a little snug and the toe box area, even though I bought my pair in a wide size. I have big bunions off of my big toes and these shoes sale are a little too tight to give me adequate room for them. based on the material of the shoe, they might stretch out a little bit. The issue was grip very well. I've run and then once so far and the trail had some mud and moisture and places. I never lost my footing. These souls are quite firm but still offer a very decent amount of cushioning. I did two and a half miles in them, and the bottom of my left forefoot was starting to hurt. You saw those are removable, so I will probably put some softer insoles in them and take the original ones out. The sock like opening of the shoe is tight and prevents any trail pieces from getting into your shoes. I was concerned about getting blisters, so I made sure to wear socks that come up higher than the shoes' openings and I didn't have any problems. Overall, these are great shoes. I'm especially happy to have gotten them at the price that I did. I'm looking forward to many more miles put in these shoes.
