I am a long time New Balance wearer. They are the only brand of running shoe that will fit my difficult feet and my orthotics. I have worn the 1080 model since at least version 8. I sincerely wish that New Balance would quit redesigning their shoes because with each change they mess up the shoe. 1080 version 10 and 1080 version 11 were bad. I stuck with them, but they were not great shoes for support and cushioning of the forefoot. Finally, version 12 arrived with a wonderful redesign. The New Balance shoes I love are back! If you were disappointed by version 11, please try these. I know they are more expensive, but it is worth it. I have a balky knee and with these shoes I have not had the stiffness and soreness I was experiencing. My chiropractor even noticed it. So, before New Balance messes up the 1080's again, I have bought 3 pairs.Shoe looks fantastic, feels great, and I am only mildly upset because I should have believed the previous reviewers. I should have ordered a half size down. A full size down would have my big toe at the edge of the toe box. I have an expectation that a US 10.5 is a US 10.5 in a major brand shoe. Apparently not with New Balance. Would have been 5 stars without the sizing difficulty.Great shoe is just like the last version but has a better back that isn’t plastic. I only returned it because my old ones still have life in them. Don’t hesitate to buy these though!Like most people, I read many reviews of these shoes before purchasing. was a little worried about size as I have read that they run small. there might be a little difference in size but in my case the shoes fit fine with my normal size. I have worn these shoes for 3 weeks and I am very satisfied with them. they are great for walking, running or standing.Es mi primera vez con la marca pero estoy muy contento. They only have one drawback, and that is that they run slightly narrow right at the top of the arch (both sides). Loosening up the shoe helps, but after a couple of miles it begins to feel get uncomfortable.I was hesitant. These days most shoes are too shallow (top to bottom) for how high my arch is so I live with hiking shoes or hiking slip-ons. These fit great and the foam arch support makes them a true pleasure to wear.Although I have to return for a 1/2 size smaller, they are very comfortable. Ordered because I have planters faciitis and need more arch support and more cushioning in the heel. Ordered a smaller size. Had these before and they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Delivered ahead of promised time, just as ordered and will order aagain when needed. I really like the color!While the shoe is quite comfortable, It's not quite as comfortable as the predecessor, the 1080 V 11s. of which I own 2 pairs because there are just so good. The change of the heel part of the shoe has made it a bit of a tighter fit. Ich habe aufgrund Überlastung schon seit mehr als 15 Jahren immer wieder mit diesen Problemen zu kämpfen und dabei hat keine längere Pause oder irgendwelche Terapien das geringste geholfen. Ich habe wirklich alles ausprobiert und bin mir jetzt (spät ab doch) absolut sicher, dass nur das richtige Dehnen (lt. Liebscher u. Bracht) und der ideale Laufschuh, mit einem angepassten Schaft hinten bei der Ferse, die einzige Möglichkeit sind, dass der Laufsport im intensiveren Bereich und bei fortgeschrittenem Alter noch möglich ist und Spaß macht. Wahrscheinlich hab ich schon weit über 100 Paar Laufschuhe zertrampelt, aber diesen leichten Laufschuh möchte ich hier ausnahmsweise für alle Läufer mit Achillessehnenproblemen wärmstens empfehlen und er passt auch für etwas schnellere Einheiten zwischen 3-4 min. pro km ganz gut!A few days ago, my trusted New Balance 880 model gave up on me. The inside of the right shoe ended up very worn next to the heel and the plastic reinforcement would dig in my heel causing bleeding. I did not hesitate to look for another new balance pair. They were my best friend for 6 years so I did not even hesitate.I saw quite a few models and decided on this one. Reviews seemed decent and did not expect any disappointments. The shoe arrived and the shipping company left it on the street for anyone to take. Then the box was torn in so many places I thought the shoes were damaged.After two runs and a few walks, I am asking myself if this is actually a shoe for a human foot.
