I am a M. D. with personal experience with foot disorders. These shoes are excellent!!!These shoes provide excellent arch support so are especially useful in people who have :1. Posterior Tibial Tendinitis with or without an associated Autoimmune Immune Disease Causing Joint Pain2. Fallen arches3. Chronic Foot Pain due to deformities4. Lupus with foot pain5. Elderly at risk of falls.6. Rheumatoid Arthritis with foot pain7. Chronic Foot pain from any other conditionMy Personal Experience:There’s shoes immediately reduced my foot pain caused by Posterior Tibial Tendinitis and Lupus.These shoes also improved my walking. I felt immediately more steady.The shoes are very light which is good and I found I could walk immediately better with them.I Needed One Size Bigger !!I made the mistake of keeping the original order which was my regular shoe size but I found the shoes were pushing on my toes resulting in pain in my toes and pressure on the toenails.I just got a bigger size and they are Perfect!!I gave the shoes that didn’t fit to someone in my family who thanked me profusely.Do not keep the shoes if they don’t fit you correctly. You should get the size that fits you best.I have purchased one pair of shoes for inside the house and a separate pair for outside.I noticed after the first day I wore them my calves were sore but this soreness went away. This soreness was similar to when I would start a new exercise and the muscles ached for a few days later.I think this is because I wasn’t walking properly before and for the first time as was using the correct leg muscles so they were sore the next day but the soreness went away the next day and never returned.I was able to reduce my use of medication for pain in my feet after walking with these shoes.I noticed I was more confident walking and I wasn’t worrying about falling like I had been before.The price was very affordable - less than 100 dollars. Most of the time good sneakers can be very expensive.I did not use my custom orthotics with these shoes since I found they had a lot of arch support so the orthotics in my case were unnecessary but this may not apply to everyone.I am going to buy more shoes in different colors.These are my personal experiences. D.Update July 12, 2023I have been wearing the shoes every day, both inside and outside the house.They are very comfortable and I stand by my opinion- Definitely Need ONE SIZE UP.I now am looking to buy more shoes so that there will be one dedicated pair of shoes for inside the house.The pain from Posterior Tibial Tendinitis goes away “ miraculously “ when I wear the shoes.I also have Lupus and my foot pain is much better wearing these shoes.In fact - I only take them off to shower and go to bed.I love them because that are super- light also.I hope this additional information is helpful.
